What is a Map Rail? You will find map rail at the top of the boards. It's an aluminum trimmed piece of cork that you can use thumb tacks in to display artwork, posters, etc. You can also get additional accessories such as flag holders, combination clip hooks and map winders that fit onto the map rail.

The aluminum trim is 7/8" wide and there is a full length deep aluminum marker tray. For added safety the marker tray includes black plastic end caps so no one gets jabbed if they accidentally run into them. In addition, all of the necessary installation hardware is included with each unit.

The dry erase writing surface is a low gloss, smooth surface that offers greater color contrast for markers. The boards are also magnetic receptive so you can use magnetic accessories of all kinds. The boards are only 1/4" thick with a foil barrier backing to prevent moisture buildup and warping.

Transit time depends upon your location but on average you can add a week before your boards arrive to you after they ship. Only the 18" x 24" and 24" x 36" can ship by UPS, all others must go by truck.
